Aluminium with a thermal break
The profiles for exterior glazing: their inner and outer parts are separated, so heat does not pass and no condensation forms. We work with Alumil systems.
How the thermal break works
Aluminium profiles fall into two groups – with and without a thermal break. Aluminium conducts heat well, so exterior glazing uses profiles with a thermal break.
In them the inner and outer parts of the profile are separated by polyamide or polythermide: the flow of heat is interrupted, insulation is better and no condensation forms. These profiles are used mostly for residential and office buildings and for commercial premises.
They can be coated in the same colour outside and inside, or in two different ones.
Why aluminium
Aluminium is light, resistant to corrosion, easy to maintain and long-lived. It is environmentally clean and keeps all its qualities when recycled.
Strong and light at once, it needs no extra steel reinforcement to carry a load. That makes it ideal for interior and façade structures: frames, cabins, partitions, roof structures and winter gardens.
It needs no painting and does not warp or rot, and its stability means many years of trouble-free use.
Frames and sashes
The aluminium systems are designed to give complete and affordable solutions. We offer a variety of straight and rounded frames and sashes.
Colours
From the factory the aluminium profiles are white. They are powder-coated in more than 200 colours of the RAL Classic chart – matt or gloss, classic or metallic, or with a wood or marble effect. See the RAL colour chart.
